Known hanging-up parts for or on packages consist of eyes which are punched out completely and whose upper edge section resting on a holder is relatively weak such that the eyes often tear out. Additionally, punching waste occurs when producing the eyes. To avoid these disadvantages, the hanging-up part proposed has at least one preformed eye (1) which can be pushed open in such a way that the edge section of the pushed-open preformed eye intended for supporting on a rod-shaped holder is joined to a material part (17) from the pushed-open inside area of the preformed eye (1), which material part acts as an edge reinforcement (Figure 3).
