A single-use application syringe for dental materials comprises a thin syringe body made of plastic which contains a cylinder cavity (2) and a piston (7), the ratio of the effective stroke of the piston to its diameter being at least approximately 7. Detachable gripping parts (4, 6) are provided on the syringe body and on the cylinder. The piston rod (5) can be detached from the piston (7) and can be designed for multiple use. The absence of cumbersome parts on the syringe body makes it possible to pack a large number of single-use syringe bodies in a compact package. |
