PURPOSE:To accurately discharge a specified amt. of a liq. in a vacuum atmosphere without being affected by bubbles by keeping the pressure exerted on the liq. to be discharged in the title constant quantity discharger set in the vacuum atmosphere at about atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a chamber 7 is evacuated by a mechanical booster 8 and an oil rotary pump 9, the adhesive in an adhesive tank 1 is defoamed, and then the external force is exerted on the tank 1 to deep the pressure exerted on the adhesive in the discharger at about atmospheric pressure. Meanwhile, a check valve to be balanced with the force from the upstream side is housed in the discharge port 3 of the discharger, and the inside of the discharger is kept at atmospheric pressure. When a plunger 2 is operated under such conditions, the force exerted on the adhesive between the check valve 5 and the discharge port 3 is increased, hence the balance with the reaction force of the check valve housed in the discharge port 3 is lost, and a specified amt. of the adhesive is discharged onto the plastic substrate 4 under the vacuum atmosphere from the discharge port 3 without carrying bubbles.
