PURPOSE:To automatically exclude an inferior article to the outside of an article filling line, by operating a rejector, which detects the abnormal state of the moving type carrier and container moving on the article filling line and discharges the moving type carrier and container in the abnormal state to an inferior article discharge conveyor, and a replenishing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The container inspection apparatus 30 arranged on the downstream side of a box delivery station B inspects whether a container 38 is normally received in a moving type carrier 37 and the capping state detector 47 arranged at a weight checking and printing station E inspects whether a cap normally closes the container 38 and a weight checker further checks whether the container is filled with a prescribed amount of content. The obtained detection signals are sent to a control apparatus and, when abnormality is detected, a control signal is sent to a rejector 63 and a pawl 64 is operated and hooks the moving type carrier 37 in an abnormal state to discharge the same to an inferior article discharge conveyor 61. In a filling line, a new empty carrier 37 returns from an empty carrier supply conveyor 62 to be transferred to a conveyor 67.
