PURPOSE:To manufacture a multi-color molded material by means of a simple brinting technique with out providing a number of special molds by laminating at least three of polyacetal resin layers of different shade, etching the upper layer with acid or alkali to different depths and exposing the shade of lower layers. CONSTITUTION:At least three of laminated layers 10 composed of polyacetal resin are formed. A layer 1 is colored gray, a layer 2 red and a layer 3 blue. Next, desired patterns 4, 4' are printed with a plurality of kinds of etching ink to decompose the polyacetal resin on desired positions of the surface of the laminated materials. Then, the etching ink are dried naturally or by heat, and the polyacetal resin patterned sections are decomposed by heat treating the patterned sections 4, 4' and then pattern-shaped etched sections 5, 5' are formed by removing decomposed substances by means of brushing, washing with water or the like. The etching inks accelerate the decomposition of acetal resin at the time of heating the polyacetal resin, and of comparatively strong acid of pH4 or less or comparatively strong alkali of pH10 or more and nonvolatile.
