A connection piece made of plastic contains a collar into which a pipe end (18) can be pushed, the inner surface (12) of the collar and the outer surface (20) of the pipe end (18) being connectable by cold welding using a bonding agent. It is intended to be able to produce a rapid, clean cold-welded connection, namely with problem-free processing and while ensuring high strength and a long service life. To achieve this object, it is proposed that the inner surface (12) of the collar, designed as a bonding surface, be provided with at least one profile part (14, 16), projecting in the radial direction beyond the inner surface (12) and ensuring centering of the pipe end (18). <IMAGE> |
