PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture of an oxide superconductor wire material hiving good characteristics by forming at a low temperature and shintering a preform of a superconductive film on a wire material medium of a metallic salt by thin film forming by direct application. CONSTITUTION:A desired metal ion and such oxidant that accelerates an oxygen generating power or reaction to oxygen such as, e.g., halogen (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine) or nitric acid ion, etc., as oxidant are applied to a heat resistant continuous substance (wire material medium) heated or non-heated concurrently or separately. A film preform is heat treated under an oxgen or non-oxygen atmosphere as required. This enables a wire material of an oxide superconductor mixedly sintered having a uniform component to be obtained. |
