摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a superconducting material having high sintered density and high critical current density by molding a mixture of a metal (or a metal compd.), a binder, and a fibrous material, carbonizing org. components to cause sintering, then sintering further by oxidation. CONSTITUTION:A molded body is obtd. by molding a mixture consisting of >=2 kinds of metal (or metal compds.) selected from Cu, Ba, La, Y, and Sr, an high molecular org. binder selected from diazo type, methacrylic, polycarbonate type, polyethylenic binder, etc., and >=one kind of fibrous material selected from org. synthetic fibers, org. natural fibers, inorganic fibers, and metallic fibers. Then, the molded body is calcined at 250-750 deg.C in reducing atmosphere consisting of Ar or N2 to carbonize and sinter the org. components. Further, the produce is calcined at 700-950 deg.C in oxydizing atmosphere contg. >=10% O2 to remove carbonaceous components by oxidation, and the metal (or metal compd.) is sintered simultaneously by oxidation to produce thus a superconducting material having 50-1,500A/cm<3> critical current density at 75-94K Tc.
