PURPOSE:To prevent positioning of jigs such as pincettes to the front face of then reflecting face of a polyhedral mirror at the time of carrying out an adjusting operation so that no damages are given to the reflecting face by forming a rising part for sticking a weight for adjusting the wheel balance of a rotating system to the leaf spring of a polyhedral mirror supporting device. CONSTITUTION:The leaf spring 22 is constituted of a disk-shaped plate 22a integrally formed with the rising part 22b for sticking the weight for adjusting the balance of the rotating system at the outside circumferential edge and tongue pieces 22d which come into pressurized contact with the front face of the polyhedral mirror 3 when the mirror is supported by a revolving shaft 6 of a motor. The weight 10 is stuck to the inside peripheral face of the rising part 22b from above the mirror 3 by using a jig 9 to execute the operation to adjust the balance of the rotating system of the rotary polyhedral mirror device 1. The jig 9 is thereby prevented from being positioned to the front face of the reflecting face at the time of the operation to adjust the balance of the rotating system. The possibility of giving the damages to the mirror 3 by contact of the jig 9 with the reflecting face 3a of the mirror 3 is thus eliminated. |
