PURPOSE:To print several kinds of labels by one label printer without replacing a label, by connecting two or more label printing mechanism parts, which are selectively subjected to printing control by one printer control apparatus, to the printer control apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The preset data corresponding to the kind of a commodity is read from the preset memory 23b of an RAM 23. The commodity is placed on the weighing tray of a balance 2 and the weight of the commodity containing a tare weight is measured on the basis of the detection signal of the load cell 2a of the balance 2 to form a weighing label image. The content of a printing buffer 23g is printed by the first printing mechanism part 3 to issue a weighing label. After a commodity advertisement label image is formed by the printing buffer 23g, the printing mechanism part printing the commodity advertisement label of said image is indicated. By this indication, a change-over circuit 26 is changed over toward the second printing mechanism part 4 and the content of the printing buffer 23g is printed by the printing mechanism part 4 to issue the commodity advertisement label.
