PURPOSE:To mold containers of good transparency, gloss and appearance and without raindrop phenomenon efficiently by forming a heating surface in contact with thermoplastic resin sheet or the like with a woven cloth of fine metallic fibers having surface gloss. CONSTITUTION:A heater 12 for heating is mounted on a heating plate 11, and a venting hole 13 is opened on the surface side of the inside of the heating plate. A heating plate 14 for heating in contact with a sheet 1 is provided in a manner to cover the venting hole 13 on the surface of the heating plate 11. Said heating plate 14 consists of a woven cloth 14a of fine metallic fibers directly in contact with the sheet 1 and a plate 14b backing up said woven cloth. The diameter of the fine metallic fibers constituting the woven cloth 14a should be 15 mum or less, preferably 10 mum or less, and stainless, copper, silver or the like is used as the material, and the material should have surface gloss. Stainless (SUS) should preferably be used for the purpose.
