PURPOSE:To keep the close adhesiveness of an object to be examined and a coil, by facilitating the insertion of the object to be examined in a high frequency coil by flexible coil members and uniquely determining the shape of the coil after the mounting of the object to be examined by a fixed coil member. CONSTITUTION:In a high frequency coil 1, the flexible coil members 11a1, 11b1... of the lower half part 3 thereof are opened in an outwardly opening direction at the time of assembling and an object 12 to be examined is placed on the fixed coil member 10 therein. Next, the upper half part 2 of the coil 1 is placed on the lower half part 3 so as to cover the object 12 to be examined from above and both connection mechanism parts 4a-5a, 4b-5b are connected to both half parts 2, 3. At this time, the solenoid type high frequency coil 1 wherein the measuring parts of the object 12 to be examined are surrounded by the upper and lower half bodies 2, 3 is completed. The flexible coil members 11a1, 11b1... are provided at a predetermined interval and, when the upper arm part 12a of the object 12 to be examined is inserted in the coil 1 through the space between the coil members, the high frequency coil 1 can be arranged with respect to the object 12 to be examined so that the heart or the lungs is arranged at the central part.
