PURPOSE:To stably hang a large bag by uniformly distributing load, by a method wherein a contact plate is brought into contact with the upper end of a bag side wall and the side wall is involved around said contact plate to form a seal part which is, in turn, formed into a U-shape cross-section to be engaged with a hanging device having a hanging jig mounted to the center of a support rod. CONSTITUTION:As a bag receiving content having a weight of about 1 ton, a large bag 1 having a bag mouth width of about 1m formed by processing high weighing capacity kraft stretched paper or polyethylene laminated processed paper as a material is used. After the content is received in the large bag 1, the short strip like contact plate 2 unified with the bag mouth of the large bag and formed by laminating tough cardboard is brought into contact with one side wall of the upper mouth of the bag main body to involve the bag main body. The lower end of the contact plate is sealed by a clamp 3 to form a seal part to the upper mouth of the bag. A support rod wherein side surfaces 5, 5' are parallelly arranged at a definite interval and the lower parts thereof are curved and connected as shown by a numeral 6 to be formed into a U-shape cross-section is formed and a hanging jig 7 is mounted to the center of the support rod in a state inclined so as to be positioned above the vertical line of the side surface 5' from the outside of the side surface 5 to constitute this hanging device. The formed seal part 4 is engaged with the interior of the support rod formed into the U-shape cross-section of this hanging device. When this bag is hung by the hanging jig 7, the bag can be hung without slipping the seal part.
