摘要 PURPOSE:To enable color observation in >=2 different wavelength ranges by insertably and removable disposing plural filters which have a single transmission wavelength band within the wavelength range used for observation or photographing and of which the transmission wavelength bands vary from each other into an optical path of an illumination system or photographing system. CONSTITUTION:The plural filters 8, 27, 28 which have the single transmission wavelength band within the wavelength range used for observation or photographing and of which the transmission wavelength bands vary from each other are insertably and removably disposed into the optical path of the illumination system or photographing system. Three pieces among the plural filters 8, 27, 28 are successively inserted and removed into and from the optical path and video signals are obtd. by an image pickup means at each insertion and removal. These video signals are synthesized to obtain the color image. The color observation in >=2 different wavelength wavelength regions such as a combination of visible light and invisible light range or part of the visible light and invisible light is thereby enabled and the kinds of the wavelength ranges are increased; in addition, the respective filters are as simple as to have only one transmission wavelength range and, therefore, the production cost is reduced.
