LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the yield and reliability of a liquid crystal display device which has the constitution in which electrodes are formed on color filters by providing a silicon oxide layer between a silicon inorg. resin layer which is a protecting and smoothing layer of the color filters and the electrode layer of said device. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal device is constituted by having the silicon oxide layer 4 between the protecting and smoothing layer consisting of silicon inorg. resin and the electrode layer 5. The adhesive power of the electrode 5 is improved by adoption of such constitution and the thermal stress applied on the electrode layer is relieved by the silicon oxide layer 4. The exfoliation, cracking and disconnection of the electrode layer in the stage are thereby prevented and the liquid crystal display device which exhibits a good display grade and has a high yield and reliability is obtd.
