PURPOSE:To enable a comfortableness to be kept by a method wherein when an operat ing condition sensing means detects a stopped state of a compressor, a blower control means for operating an indoor fan in a small amount of air until an indoor heat exchanger shows a decreased desired temperature is provided. CONSTITUTION:An indoor unit is provided with an operating state detecting means 4 for detecting an actual operating state of a compressor according to a signal of a compressor control part 8 and a blower controlling means 6 for operating at a low speed an indoor fan 7 until output from an indoor heat exchanger temperature sensor 5 is decreased lower than a desired value when the operating condition detecting means 4 detects a stopped condition of the compressor. Even in case it judges that ON instruction is outputted against the compressor, it may examine the actual operat ing condition, and if it is not operated, the indoor fan is operated at a low speed until the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger reaches a minimum value of the low speed operation. Therefore, even if a condition in which the unit is stopped while the operating instruction of the compressor is being outputted, a decrease in tempera ture of the indoor heat exchanger is restricted and at the same time a decrease of an indoor temperature can be restricted and so a comfortableness of the indoor part can be maintained.
