The building facade cladding (1) comprises rails (3) fixed to the facade (2) and to which a large number of cladding plates (219 (21) are fixed in turn. Fixings (22) have connectors (23) for suspension from a rail and couplings engaging with first and second overlapping plates. The fixings can be basically of S-shape, with edges extending downwards to fit over the top edge of the rail.
