The method of producing a joint endoprosthesis resides in the fact that a flat sheet adapted to suit the circumference of the joint pedicle is produced from a metal sheet, the sheet being brought by bending into the intended pedicle shape, and that abutting parts of the flat sheet are then metallically bonded and a joint part is subsequently inserted into the hollow pedicle by an attachment and metallically bonded to the pedicle.
