PURPOSE:To make it possible to provide a compact original conveying path switching device having a reversing function by swingably providing an original conveying path switching means for switching between a discharge path for discharging originals to the outside and a reversing path for reversing the face of the originals so that the originals are conveyed in the reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:When a conveying belt 21 is normally rotated, an original D is fed onto an original glass pane 2 where the face of the original D is exposed. There are provided a discharge path 41 for discharging the original D after copying operation to the outside through a feed-out path 41 in a discharged sheet reversing unit 40, a reversing path branching from the feed-out path 41 so as to reverse the face of the original D for a copy of the rear surface of the original D before it is fed onto the grass pane 2 in the reverse direction, and a conveying path switching member 50 arranged swingably, for carrying out a switch between the discharge path and the reversing path. accordingly, it is possible to eliminate the necessity of the control of complicated conveying paths and paper discharge and reversing rollers so as to provide a practical original conveying apparatus 5 having a simple structure with simple operation but having no trouble. Further, the conveyance of originals in the sheet discharging and reversing paths may be made to be smooth, thereby it is possible to eliminate troubles such as paper jams and the like. |
