This invention relates to a system for heating and/or sustaining the warmth of at least one automotive vehicle part such as windscreen wash-water container (18), fuel tank (47), wash water hoses, windscreen wiper blades etc., including a heating device for respective vehicle parts and a source (13) of electrical energy capable of being connected to respective heating devices and suitably comprising the vehicle battery or batteries. The invention is characterized by means for connecting the energy source (13) to a respective heating device through the intermediary of a high power to each respective device or devices, and also through the intermediary of a low power circuit (21, 28-32, 38) for applying relatively low power to each respective device or devices, the high power circuit being intended to apply power to the each respective device or devices solely when the vehicle is being used. |
