<p>A fan rotor (32) is driven through a friction clutch (34). The friction clutch (34) is a multiple disk clutch. A spring (7) closes the friction clutch (34) through a magnetically non-conductive actuating ring (5) which is securely attached to an armature ring (16). An electromagnet (35) is attached to an engine housing. The electromagnet (35) can open the friction clutch (34) against the spring (7). A control device (17) ensures that the friction clutch (34) is opened continuously or in small steps between an upper and a lower temperature limit.</p> |
