The seat protector according to the invention for toilet seats, which is produced in one piece from dimensionally stable, resilient or highly flexible, detergent-resistant plastic and is in the form of an elongated, oval, flat annular body arched in a torus-like fashion and adapted to the toilet seat, has two resilient or highly flexible snap-in profile rings (5, 6) running round at the inner and outer edge, respectively, which, after mounting the seat protector, positively engage behind the toilet seat, and furthermore a gripping recess or gripping bulge at the rear, rectilinear part of the seat protector, and two padded sitting regions on the upper side of the elongated sides of the oval annular body.
