<p>In a process for coating metal strips by the coil coating process, the coating agents consists of: a) 3 to 50 % by weight, preferably 20 to 40 % by weight, of polyester imide resins, whose 20 to 60 % by weight solutions have viscosities at 23 DEG C in the range of 90 to 4000 mPas and whose hydroxyl members lie in the range from 50 to 300, b) 3 to 40 % by weight, preferably 10 to 30 % by weight, of pigments and/or fillers, c) up to 3 % weight of suitable process materials and additives, d) 10 to 90 % by weight, preferably 20 to 60 % by weight, of one or more organic solvents, where the sum of a), b), c) and d) is equal to 100 % by weight. The invention also concerns the use of the metal strips produced by the above-mentioned process in the manufacture of exhaust parts.</p> |
