<p>The invention relates to a winding machine for producing electrical coils from a wire, having a feed braking device, a main braking device with a braking wheel around which the wire is looped and having a movement-controlled wire laying device. In order to avoid a lack of wire in such a winding machine when, after completion of a winding process, the position with respect to the main braking device of the end of the wire produced by cutting off is changed, the feed braking device (4) contains a braking device (5) which rotates in the opposite direction to the exit direction of the wire (3), and at least one brake disc (12), which is driven in the opposite direction to that rotation direction of the braking wheel (9) which is produced by the wire output, is allocated to the braking wheel (9) of the main braking device (8) (Figure 1). <IMAGE></p> |
