PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing material together having a deodorizing property, beautiful appearance and moldability, by containing a transparent deodorant and a colorant in granular cellulose acetate. CONSTITUTION:Coloration is performed by dispersing a known by or pigment in a cellulose acetate solution and, subsequently, the colored cellulose acetate solution is granulated. A transparent deodorant has transparency not damaging the hue of the colored cellulose acetate granule and, for example, the deodorant extracted from the leaves of a camelia can be used. The deodorant can be contained in cellulose acetate by adding the cellulose acetate solution but the deodorant solution is sprayed to the colored cellulose acetate granule or infiltrated therein before drying. By this method, this deodorizing material can be formed into a commodity having beautiful appearance or can be molded as a granular aggregate. |
