PURPOSE:To enhance the interlaminar strength of prepregs, in which two- dimensionally woven carbon fiber cloths are employed, by a method wherein the surface states of prepreg woven cloths, which are adjacent to each other, are made different from each other. CONSTITUTION:The surface states of prepreg woven cloths, which are adjacent to each other, are made different from each other by making the weave of woven cloth, thread spacing, number of filaments in strand, kind of carbon fiber and direction of thread of woven cloth different respectively or in combination. When the prepreg woven cloths are laminated to one another, the carbon fibers in adjacent prepregs turn into entangled state due to different period and amplitude of unevenness on the surfaces of the prepregs and/or engagement of the unevenness, resulting in allowing to enhance the interlaminar strength. |
