PURPOSE:To improve the whole system by operating a solar-cell power and a power unit of another kind in parallel according to magnitude of power con sumption. CONSTITUTION:Power generated in a solar cell 1 is charged to a battery 4 through a charging-power monitor panel 2, converted into AC by an inverter 3 through the charging-power monitor panel 2 again, and fed to load through a synchronizer 7. When the power consumption of load extends over the rated capacity or less of the inverter 3, the synchronizer is not operated. A system controller 6 controls the startup of a diesel generator 5, synchronizing, the monitor of the state of load, the monitor of the capacity of the battery and the distribution of load to both power supplies. When the power consumption of load takes a peak value, the phase of the voltage and currents of an output from the diesel generator 5 is synchronized with the phase of the voltage and currents of an output from the inverter 3 in addition to feed from the inverter 3, and parallel operation is conducted by the synchronizer 7. Accordingly, the capacity of the inverter 3 can be set at a small value, and a mean load factor is improved and conversion efficiency is enhanced. |
