<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the input jobs of a picture input/output device by retrieving a display dot having the shortest distance from an input coordinate point on a display screen of the picture input/output device and changing the dot display having the shortest distance from said display dot. CONSTITUTION:An input tablet 1 of a picture input/output device has a flat input/output surface 3. An input pen 2 is operated on the surface 3 like a writing job for input of coordinates. Thus a picture G is displayed on the surface 3. Furthermore the tablet 1 includes a coordinate input device 4 containing a transparent material at the part corresponding to the surface 3 and a display device 5. A control system of the picture input/output device includes a memory part consisting of a CPU, a ROM and a RAM. In such a constitution, a display dot having the shortest distance from an input coordinate point is retrieved on the display screen of the input/output device. Then the dot display having the shortest distance from said display dot is changed. Thus it is possible to change the dot display adjacent to an input picture element that is already displayed.</p> |
