METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INSPECTION

PURPOSE:To automate the inspection of the misinsertion of a component into a board by providing by moving a base body drawing a specific track, and providing a photosensor on the track and detecting the difference of reflected light by utilizing the shape of a component on the track. CONSTITUTION:The printed board 2 is mounted on a table 16 and movable in its thickness direction. The lengthwise direction of a Y-directional linear motion guide 18 is arranged at right angles to an X-directional linear motion guide 17 and the sensor 19 is moved automatically in a Y direction. This sensor 19 is fitted to a guide 18 and emits light and also detects whether or not the emitted light is reflected to return. Further, an optical 20 sends the light emitted by the sensor 19 in its emission direction and also sends the return reflected light to the sensor 19. The board 2, on the other hand, is positioned by a pusher 15 so that its X and Y direction are set along guides 17 and 18.
