PURPOSE:To thaw a material to be thawed stably without uneven thawing nor distribution difference, e.g. temperature of humidity, etc., by circulating circulation air humidified in a thawing machine through a thawing chamber, and circulating partially the air through air paths formed by connecting thawing carts in the form of a duct. CONSTITUTION:Thawing carts 3 having opening in front and rear parts and many receiving shelves are introduced from a carrying in door 9 and contained side by side in the form of a duct in the forward and backward directions in the respective left and right paths divided with a partition wall 2 in the central part in the longitudinal direction in a thawing chamber 1 having heat insulating properties, and a circulating air channel 5 provided on one end side in the longitudinal direction thereof. Hot humid air for thawing is circulated through forward and reverse rotating circulating fans 4 into the carts 3 right and left (as indicated by the broken arrows). On the other hand, humid air for thawing humidified in a thawing machine 11 consisting of a gas-liquid contact heat exchanger 12, water storage tank 13 with a heater, water pump 14, etc. is supplied to a ceiling air path 10 of the thawing chamber 1 through a duct 15 and air flow controlling means 19, and the air is passed through a mixing chamber 8 and suction chamber 6 and then an air suction duct 16 and circulated to thaw a material to be thawed (as indicated by the solid lines). |
