PURPOSE:To obtain good sounds with a sound diversity receiver, by using signals produced by converting sound intermediate-frequency signals into a DC level as comparison signals and performing sampling, comparison, holding, and high- frequency switching at every fixed period. CONSTITUTION:A circuit 5 which detects sound intermediate-frequency signals received by respective antennas 9 and 10 and signal-processed at every fixed period in time division and converts the detected signals into a DC level, is provided. In addition, the titled receiver is provided with a switching circuit 8 which simultaneously performs level comparison on each DC-level converted voltage and executes switching driving on the high-frequency signal of the antenna for which the highest-level signal is detected as a result of the comparison and a latch circuit 7 which holds the switching-driven high-frequency signals until the next signal detection and level comparison are performed. Thus switching is always made to the antenna receiving the highest-level signal of the plural antennas 9 and 10. Therefore, satisfactory sounds can be obtained.
