PURPOSE:To output accurate and stable image information by providing a lamp housing with a positioning reference projecting part and providing a lamp holder with a positioning slit and allowing the optical image of an original to efficiently pass the slit aperture part. CONSTITUTION:Holder attaching parts which attach a lamp holder 42 are horizontally projected on the side of both front end parts in the lengthwise direction of a lamp housing 41, and positioning projecting parts (positioning reference projecting parts) 41a and 41b are provided. The holder 42 has a detaining part facing the holder attaching surface of the housing 41 and is bored with positioning slits 42a and 42b. In this case, the slit width of slits 42a and 42b is made slightly larger than the outside diameter of projecting parts 41a and 41b to have a minute margin so that slits are fitted to projecting parts 41a and 41b without hindrance. Thus, the holder 42 is positioned to the housing 41 with a very small deviation in the scanning and moving direction, and the optical image of the original efficiently passes a slit aperture part 41c to output accurate and stable image information.
