PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simply separate the most of pickling mist in a tray by connecting an air outlet provided on a wall of the spray type pickling tray to a duct, sucking and evacuating, and arranging a baffle plate for separating the mist in the air outlet. CONSTITUTION:The air outlet 9 provided on one end of an upper cover 21 of the spray type pickling tray 1 is connected to the duct 10, and the gas in the tray is sucked and evacuated therethrough. In the above-mentioned exhausting system, the baffle plate 22 which consists of a closed-end cylinder on whose periphery many perforations 23 are perforated, is arranged in the connection part of the above-mentioned air outlet 9 and the duct 10. Accordingly the acid liquid mist 25 floating in the exhaust gas 24 which is sucked from the pickling tray 1, is separated by the above-mentioned baffle plate 22, and an acid liquid stream 26 is returned to the pickling tray 1. Consequently, the most of acid liquid mist 25 in the exhaust gas 24 is collected, hence an equipment necessary in the downstream such as mist eliminator can possively be reduced.
