PURPOSE:To carry out processes other than interruption for ultrasonic wave implantation irrelevantly to the interruption by providing a buffer memory, etc., for the interconnection between the interruption process for ultrasonic wave implantation and processes except the interruption process. CONSTITUTION:A digital scan converter 6 is equipped with the buffer memory 6A for storing a signal which has its contour emphasized by an echo emphasizing circuit and is A/D-converted, a processing part 6B, a timer 6C, a clock generating circuit 6D, a display memory 6E, and a D/A converter 6F, etc. Further, the memory 6A has a memory area for storing ultrasonic image data temporarily and a memory area for interconnecting the interruption process for ultrasonic wave implantation with processes other than the interruption process. Then the memory 6A is provided with a memory area for storing all necessary information and the information stored in this memory area is referred to by the interruption process to perform the interruption process for ultrasonic wave implantation and processes except the interruption independently. Thus, a processes other than the interruption are carried out irrelevantly to the interruption. |
