PURPOSE:To arrange a display means at a free position and to eliminate the disorder due to a cable, by providing a transmitting means for transmitting the image data signal from an image pickup means and a receiving means receiving said signal to send out the same to the display means. CONSTITUTION:An external mount television camera 93 is mounted to the eyepiece part 92 of a fiberscope 91 observable with the naked eye as an image pickup means. The television camera 93 has a CCD and a preamplifier and the output signal of the CCD amplified by said preamplifier is inputted to the processing circuit 30 in a video processor 61 and the image signal formed therein is converted to a high frequency wave of a UHF band by an RF modulator 40 to be emitted as a radio wave from the antenna 62 provided to the video processor 61. The radio wave is received by the antenna 23 of a television receiver 22 to be demodulated and the image of an object is displayed on the television receiver 22. Since the image pickup means is connected to the display means by wireless, the display means can be arranged at a free position without being restricted by a cable.
