<p>The present invention relates to a device for the sealing closing of a structure (2), such as, for example, a sub-munition compartment of a missile; this device comprises an elastic section (5), inside which is fitted sealingly the edge (8) of the structure (2) and the periphery (13) of a cover (6); this device comprises, furthermore, means (7) for pushing the cover (6) towards the outside of the structure (2); this push causes the periphery (13) and/or the edge (8) to come out of the section (5) as a result of the deformation of this elastic section (5), and brings about the complete expulsion of the cover (6); when the device equips a missile, the disengagement of the periphery (13) modifies the aerodynamic coefficient of resistance to the advance (designated Cx) of the missile; this difference of Cx causes the complete expulsion of the cover (6) and thus ensures the opening of the structure (2).
