PURPOSE:To obtain high speed and high torque efficiently by using a high DC power corresponding to output torque and the number of revolution, making the rise of exciting currents steep and returning stored energy to the power supply. CONSTITUTION:A rotor has salient poles 1a, 1b... mutually having phase differ ence of 360 deg. in width of 180 deg.. Magnetic poles 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b... are disposed to a fixed stator 2 at regular pitches in width of 180 deg.. Exciting coils 3c, 3d, 4c, 4d... are mounted to these magnetic poles 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b... respectively. A high DC power corresponding to output torque and the number of revolution is employed as a DC power to these exciting coils 3c, 3d, 4c, 4d..., exciting currents are controlled by inductance, and the rise of exciting currents is made steep, and stored energy is returned to the power positive pole side. |
