PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity and durability of a photosensitive body by using a specific thiafulvalene compd. as an electric charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The layer contg. the thiafulvalene compd. expressed by the formula I charge transfer material is provided to the photosensitive body. In the formula, R1, R2 denote H, an alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or carbamoyl group which may have a substituent. The above-mentioned layer is formed by coating and drying a soln. prepd. by dissolving the compd. expressed by the formula I (e.g., R1 in the formula I is the group expressed by the formula II; R2 is a compd. of H) and a binder (e.g., polycarbonate) on, for example, an electric charge generating layer. The photosensitive body which has the high sensitivity and decreases the fluctuation in potential by repeated uses is obtd. by using the compd. expressed by the formula I. |
