PURPOSE:To easily obtain an optical memory medium having excellent mechanical characteristics and thermal characteristics by subjecting a polymethyl methacrylate film, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer film and polycarbonate film to simultaneous compression molding at a relatively low temp. CONSTITUTION:The polymethyl methacrylate film 3, the ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer film 2 and the polycarbonate film 1 are set in this order in metallic molds 4, 5 constituted by providing rugged grooves to either one face of an upper mold or lower mold in such a manner that the polymethyl methacrylate film 1 faces the rugged grooves. These three films are then simultaneously subjected to the compression molding at 80-120 deg.C. The ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer film 2 are nearly equal in light transmissivity and refractive index to both the films 1, 3 and is higher in adhesive power than said films. The optical memory medium which is optically, mechanically, and thermally good is thereby easily obtd. |
