PURPOSE:To rapidly and accurately make an access to an optical recording medium by setting up band-like areas each of which is pinched with respective reference lines out of juxtaposed plural lines as data track areas, forming plural track number parts at every corresponding data track and providing clock bits on each reference line. CONSTITUTION:Plural band-like reference lines 4 are juxtaposed on a recording medium 2 provided on a card type substrate 1 and the band-like areas pinched with respective reference lines 4 are set up as the data track areas 3. A 1st leading part A1, a 1st track number part B1, a tracking part C, a 2nd tracking number part B2, and a 2nd leading part A2 are successively and dividedly provided on the reference line 4 and the area 3 along the longitudinal direction of the reference line 4. In addition, clock bits 5 are provided on the reference line 4 corresponding to the data recording part C. Consequently, a card type optical recording medium on which many data tracks are arranged can be also rapidly and accurately accessed. |
