PURPOSE:To realize the optimum control on a receiving plane of polarization, by superimposing pulsative noises upon input signals corresponding to the receiving plane of polarization and AD-converting the input signals at a sampling frequency which is sufficiently higher against the frequency band of the input signal, and then, by performing majority decision on the converted data at every certain period. CONSTITUTION:Converted data, which are AD-converted at a sampling frequency sufficiently higher than the frequency band of the output signal of a 1st gate switch G1 and inputted in a certain period, are subject to majority decision and, if the decided data are larger than holding data as a result of the decision, the decided data are used as new holding data. Then either one of the count data of a sweep counter circuit 6 and addition-subtraction output data of an adder-subtractor circuit 5 is selected and the receiving plane of polarization of an antenna is swept in accordance with the selected data. Accordingly, the data remaining as holding data in a comparator circuit 30 after the sweeping of the receiving plane of polarization is completed are the proper converted data at the maximum level. Therefore, the optimum control can be performed on the receiving plane of polarization.
