PURPOSE:To form a notch in underground wall by a method in which a reinforcing bar cage with a vacant bag is set in a trench in the ground, an easily chipping substance is injected into the bag and hardened, and underground wall is constructed and the substance to be chipped is removed. CONSTITUTION:An opening 13 is formed in a place where an underpass is to be constructed in a trench 11 in the ground and a reinforcing bar cage 12 with a sheet bag 14 is set in the opening 13. A selt-setting stabilizer liquid is injected through a pipe 16 connected to the bag 14 and packed into the bag 14 by discharging air from the pipe 16. Concrete is placed into the trench 11 to construct an underground wall. Afterwards, the hardened portion 17 of the stabilizer liquid is removed by chipping to form a notch for underpass in the underground wall.
