PURPOSE:To detect a fine reproduced signal with high sensitivity and to attain magnetic recording with high density by using a superconductive quantum interferometer for a part for detecting a signal outputted from a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive ring 12 is constituted of a superconductive material 12 and two Josephson joints 11, a magnetic ring 13 such as ferrite is set up so as to be penetrated into the ring 12, a differential line 14 for transmitting a signal outputted from a magnetic head is wound around the ring 12 and signal detecting lines are formed in the ring 12. Thereby, a fine signal obtained from the magnetic head is converted into magnetic flux flowing into the ring 13 and current flowing through the signal detecting lines 15 is modulated by the quantity of magnetic flux flowing into the ring 13. Since the current flowing into the ring 12 is sensitively modulated also by extremely fine magnetic flux penetrated into the ring 12, a fine signal obtained from the head can be extremely sensitively detected by using the superconductive quantum interferometer.
