An urinal bowl (10) is provided with a strainer plate to hold back matches, cigarette ends etc. The strainer plate (1) is made from acid resistant plastic or metal and has a pocket formed on its underside to receive a deoderant tablet or lime removing tablet (4). A suction device (5a, 5b) is fitted to opposite sides of the strainer plate. These suction devices automatically grip the sides of the urinal bowl as the strainer is placed in position. USE/ADVANTAGE - The strainer is easily placed in position and equally easily removed when required.
