The fastener has a central curved plate (1) on which two pieces (6, 20) are articulated. One piece (6) has an arm (7) that is articulated on an axle (8) through the end of the plate. The other piece (20) has an arm (21) that slides longitudinally along a groove (9) in the plate. The groove has studs (4) along it and when the fastener is closed a notch (14) in the arm on the first piece locks elastically against the first stud. The second piece folds over the first piece and has a hook (37) under it which locks in one of the notches (5) between the studs. USE/ADVANTAGE - The fastener is for a bracelet and mainly for a watch bracelet and it is adjustable in length.
