PURPOSE:To sufficiently determine the state of brain damage, by mounting a characteristic extraction means for extracting the rhythm examination data obtained from a key tapping pressure detector and a comparing and judge means for comparing the characteristic extraction data with reference data to judge the same. CONSTITUTION:The rhythm examination data 31 shown by Fig.6 and Fig.7 are obtained from a key tapping pressure detector 22 and characteristics such as tapping pressure, the presence of a tremolo wave, a wave form interval, a speed change, wave form change or the like are extracted from said examination data 31 by a characteristic extraction means 32 and compared with reference rhythm examination data 33 to judge what disease there is. By the recording of an analogue wave form, a disorder characteristic is found out in a tapping motion planning process at every disease of every kind. Various important symptoms not considered at all from the searching method up to now merely measuring whether tapping can be done or the possible number of repetitions for 1min are visually and clearly recorded and displayed.
