PURPOSE:To grind an optical transmission body without damaging it, by grinding a magnetism detecting plane while grinding the optical transmission body after molding the optical transmission body with a molding agent. CONSTITUTION:For example, epoxy resin made of an agent in which two kinds of solution are mixed is used as the molding agent 5, and molding is performed so as to wrap the optical transmission body 3. After that, a composite head 6 is held with a head holder, and the magnetism detecting plane 4 is ground as cutting the optical transmission body 3 with a grinding stone. Also, as the optical transmission body 3, fused quartz, hard glass, or a ruby can be used. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the optical transmission body 3 from being damaged, and to easily grind the body even by a non-skilled worker. |
