PURPOSE:To make easy and rapid adjustment of concentration and composition practicable by preparing and supplying two coating liquids of varying density, then mixing these in a coating head and applying said mixture to a web through a single slot-shape aperture. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid is supplied to the interior of a coating head 1, then said coating liquid is pressed out through a slot-shaped aperture 7 and applied to a continuously running web 8. After this, said coating liquid is processed into two coating liquids of varying density 2a, 2b and these are supplied separately from separate feed ports 4a, 4b. These two different liquids are mixed in the coating head 1, and said mixture is applied to the web 8 from a single slot-shaped aperture 7. Subsequently, adjustment of the density and composition can be performed easily and quickly.
