PURPOSE:To use a device for example to the pre-treatment of a pipe line type sort processing device by comparing for each one byte from the head byte of respective data concerning the decimal data, and deciding the size relation of data. CONSTITUTION:To a decimal data form, a code digit is converted to a first special pattern (special pattern 1) specified beforehand, and further, a byte having a second special pattern (special pattern 2) is positioned to the head of the data. When the code digit is positive, the data as a whole including the byte of the special pattern 2 are transmitted and when the code digit is negative, the data as a whole including the byte of the special pattern 2 are inverted. Thus, by comparing the data inputted for each one byte from the head type, the data can be converted to the data to be able to decide the size relation of the data. |
