PURPOSE:To securely prevent the falling off of the captioned weight by providing parts which are exposed on the surface of the weight and a part which is inserted in between a rim flange part and a tire bead part on a steel clip which is embedded in the weight the chief component of which is lead. CONSTITUTION:A wheel balance weight consists of a steel clip 1 and a weight 2 in which one end of the clip 1 is embedded and the chief component of which is lead. In this case, the clip 1 consists of an embedded part 11 which is embedded in the weight 2, an inserted part 12 which projects out of the weight 2 being continued from the embedded part 11 and which is inserted into a boundary surface between a rim flange part and a tire bead part, and exposed parts 13 which extend from both sides of the embedded part 11 and which have exposed surfaces 130 which agree with the surface of the weight 2. Also, a through hole 110 for the weight 2 is provided on the embedded part 11 while a bent deflecting part 120 is formed on the inserted part 12. And, the rim flange part is held between the inserted part 12 and the exposed parts 13. |
